How much per month on gas?

Just as the title says. How much per month do you spend on gas as a family. Between the wife and I we spend $600.00 - $650.00 or 8.8% of our monthly income.

EDIT....

The wife drives a 2004.5 Dodge 2500 Cummins diesel that has a full banks setup and 8" of lift. I drive the COBRA for my DD.

last month i spent approx $150. so far this month, i've spent $58. i've been using my DD ('96 dodge stratus, 4cyl). Bullitt and Cobra gets no love

My record was 760$ one month with me driving the lifted diesel everywhere.

Usually it's between 250-500$

Out of the $600.00 or so a month I use about $175.00 in gas myself. Yep around $400-$450 a month for that truck not counting the $500.00 a month payment. Cost around $150.00 to fill it up :nonono:. But I want the wife and kids to be safe, people drive like assholes around here.

I understand but eventually you will get tired of it, because for that type of money they could be rolling aorund in a nice MB ML350 and save on gas........with brush guards

But the ML350 can't pull a 4 seater sand rail, two quads and all our camping gear. Besides the wife would rather drive the truck...LOL... Side note she got me a GARMIN NUVI 760 for fathers Day.

I was pricing a scooter by Yamaha that get 114 mpg. I will live a short distance from work but i am going to plan for long range strategy to wean myself from oil. Even if my pride takes a hit, at least my wallet won't. OK I'll have extra money to race and mod the BMW.

I only counted the mustang on VP MS109. It's about 160 a month. It'll be more once I move up to C16.
