Since this sub-forum gets more traffic I am asking this question here.
I have an aluminator with 2valve TF heads bolted on it with TF valve covers that have baffles to reduce blow-by.
I have both valve covers connected to a Moroso breather tank. After 1k miles I drained the tank and collected to what looks like 3/4 cup or 1/8th of a pint.
Is this excessive?
I am running regular dino oil and plan on switching to synthetic. So I can expect to waste about 1/2 to 3/4 of a quart over a 5k mile period with synthetic.
