hey, was wondering when it comes to boost how much is too much? What's the most you've pushed, and how much would you recommend pushing at most on pump fuel before going into e85/race fuels?

Depends on a lot of different things..compression ratio, timing, type of pump gas, means/limits of forced induction, limits of your block & rotating assembly, etc.
When fuel is the limiting factor, I think most people typically stay under 20#s before they switch to E85, race gas, mix in some torco, or throw a meth kit on the car.
Im at 19.5#s on 93.

Since this is in the Terminator engine section I'm going to assume the OP means on a stock Terminator long block. About 20-21 is around the most I've seen people list on pump 93.

I know every tuner is different and you can always run more boost and less timing. But my tuner likes to stay at 17-18 psi on 92-93 octane and put a little more timing into it, if it likes and the a/f is where it should be.

I've seen 30psi on a stock bottom end motor through an 88mm turbo. Made 1,000rwhp through an auto. Spun to 8,500rpm. 8.60's @165mph

I'm guessing that wasn't on pump 91-93 octane!

I was at 17psi and made me nervous as I'm only a 91 octane state. I'd throw a little torco in just to be safe. I just made the switch to e85 and love it. I'm at 20psi now and just ran out of pulley. I'm hoping to find some of the rarer RR 2.5-2.6" pulleys for my Gen 1. I can't ever see myself going back to gasoline.

I think most would say 17psi max for 91, some that say don't go over 15psi, and some that run 18-19psi on 93 with no issues, think it depends on the tuner and what the car likes. Might as well just go e85 anyway since you'll pick up decent power just from the switch, then you can boost all you want and not have to worry about it

19.5 PSI dynoed during the winter, 93 octane, 18 degrees of timing. I like it, just patiently waiting on the availability of E85 then I'll be turning it up.
