How much does your Cobra weigh

I know I could probably find what I'm looking for searching, but I don't feel like sifting through all the results.

I noticed in someone's sig that their Cobra weighs in at 3800lbs. It was a coupe at that. What the hell is it that adds so much weight to these cars besides the iron block and IRS?

Mine was 3843 I think, with me and about 3/4 of a tank of gas. Car is a coupe and I'm an easy 275lbs.

My coupe weighs 3720 w/ just about a full tank of gas, w/o me in it.

Last time I checked with about a quarter tank, mine was 3840 lbs. I weigh 200 exactly so the car is 3640lbs. Engine is heavy. superchager and intercooler setup adds weight. IRS adds weight.

Right! And the T56 also adds some, as do the bigger tires and wheels, compared to earlier Cobras. As I recall, Ford specs out the curb weight at 3665 lbs (for the coupe, 3780 for the vert). Curb weight is w/o gas, btw.

I was quoted 3408 by a dealer as being the shipping weight. Not sure I believe that.

Yeah, if you look at your registration, it has the wrong weight on it also. Maybe the shipping guys just take the weight from there. (My shipping weight and registration weight were equal, and the same as the '01 Cobra weight.) I weighed mine at the track, so I know the figure I gave is accurate. (Well...as accurate as their scale is!)

just weighed mine 2 weeks ago. Car had everything in it ( spare tire and jack, etc... lil over 1/4 w/o me in it and 3660 lbs.

With me and a full tank, my vert weighs in at 4040lbs. (I weigh 135-140).
It does have bigger rims, light bar, subframes, jacking rails etc. It's a dang pig!

I would guesstimate after rear seat delete 45 Lbs,16 Lbs. from wheels,108 Lbs. aluninum block,1Lb. electric fuel pump and some other tricks and no jacking hardware I'm at 3100 with no driver and 1/2 tank,Dave Smilovic

I've got mine down to 3520. Rear seat delete, new front seats which aren't that light, no spare tire/jack, no front swaybar, 1/4 tank of gas. This is with my big ass tires. About 3780 with me in it.

Weighed 3765 with me @ 135lbs and slightly less than 1/4 tank of fuel. Puts car at 3630 I suppose.
