How much does your cobra drink?

well, ive asked myself how much gas does your cobra drink, or how many miles do you get bevor your on reserves?

Well, this is a hard one to answer. I have had a 96 Cobra and a '01 Cobra. The '01 got a little better fuel mileage than the 96 on the highway, but worse on road courses. I have gotten anywhere from 4 mpg to 24 mpg. But around town, just cruising, I usually got about 20 mpg.

My 00 R gets about 12-14 mpg no matter how hard I am on it on the street. I am told on the track, it gets around 5mpg becasue you are constantly on the gas at high rpm for long periods of time..As my car has a 21 gallon fuel cell and I am not sure about usable capacity, and my fuel gauge is not accurate, I got for about 170-190 miles and fuel up. That comes to about 14-15 gallons so mileage is around 12-13 mpg. It is a little less in the sumer time and a little better in 6th on a long trip.

It depends how you drive. I would not be suprised to see at least 18-20mpg for a responsibly driven street Cobra though.

Highway, long trips - 23-26 mpg
City, commuter - 18-20 mpg
Friday night cruise - 15-17 mpg

Im impressed, thats pretty good considering what you have under the hood, my Impala would get like low teens 13-14 when driven hard, but 22-24 on the highway........ Guess every beast is different. I heard that the '03's could have as bas as 9 mpg, but that might a urban legend.
