How much boost can the ls7 take??

But from what Ive read on this site everyone says it cant take that much boost if any at all. So will this motor last long?

:dw:. You can't be serious... You wouldnt last 30 seconds on a dyno with 20-30psi on the stock Ls7. That things compression is pretty damn high if I remember correctly.

20-30 psi.....read up on the ls7 motor...every blower package on a stock block runs 6-8 psi...anything over that(if someone has done it) it would a forged motor....

Don't forget the cast pistons and thin cylinder walls. With a spot-on tune a stock LS7 can handle 650rwhp+, but you never know how long it will last.
