I really hope to find a well priced DSG in the coming months, nice to know there arent too many of them roaming around. I figured there were less True Blues made than 1,130.

Wow sweet... I love owning a late Collectable

Doubt they're gonna worth much at any time down the road, POSSIBLY if someone were to have a completely stock, unmolested, mint condition garage queen.

its a ford truck no matter how you look at it. we arent looking at a 50 year old mercedes. looking at those numbers does make me appreciate my white 2000 L. collector not likely

why wouldn't it be a collector?
how many cars are made by the hundreds of thousands or millions per year?
we own something that is classified as the "worlds fastest truck" and i own one of only 8,100 black ones ever made!
look at past muscle cars, some of them have bigger production numbers than out truck!

but, collector or not, its sweet to own something that not many own!

I don't care about the money value anyway.. I care about the wow factor... as years pass less and less of these trucks make it...

not saying i agree with everything on the thread, but a truck that was produced with 28,000 others isnt rare.

maybe a 00 cobra R but not a lightning they may be worth SOMETHING but nothing astronomical

I'm not saying our truck is as rare as a 2000 cobra R, that is stupid to say. I was merely refering to how many other cars are produced. look up the mid 60's muscle cars, look at all the years of production, there are more of them made than our trucks. look at the cars made today, 300,000 or more, even ones with specific things like superchargers are made in the 50,000 range or more PER year.
I know our truck isn't going to be some million dollar truck in 30 years, and i don't care because i don't plan on selling mine. I just think that we do have something that you don't see every day.

btw, i still think 8,000 over six years is rare enough that i have never seen another black one in person. i have seen more rarer cars more often than i have lightnings.
