To drive to/from the drag strip is fine but i would not drive all the time with out it.

I have driven mine on the street with it off and the handling sucks big time. Do yourself a favor and don't do it.

+1 when i bought my car the guy had the sway bar off..handling sucked..You could just move the battery to the trunk...

i drove w/out mine in the old cobra for about a year...when i put it back on to sell the car i couldn't believe i drove so long without it...i agree, off for the track, on for the street...

buy a lightweight aftermarket if you dont like the stock.. i went with a heavy stiff suspension techniques bar.. launches hard and good.. picked up some weight but i can feel a difference
