Saw the shell on craigslist. The guy stripped everything out of it for parts and was just trying to get scrap value. The body had rippling in the roof from kids jumping off the garage on it, lower 1/4 damage from the original owner hitting a curb and extremely faded paint from being parked outside by the ocean in rhode island its entire life. After buying the IRS, bumpers, skirts, hood, trunk lid and wing, not to mention the interior panels, I'm about $3800 into it. I jumped on it because I had a full "cobra" (5.3 bore/stroked aluminum block) swap in my saleen but decided to go coyote platform in that after falling in love with my s550. So I figured why not? If it takes me 30 years to finish I still have a 34k mile cobra built completely by me and the way I want it. Once I actually start the bodywork I'll start a thread on it. Also became good friends with the guy parting it out. If anyone needs 03/04 parts in the northeast I'd be more than happy to connect you with him. 02 Saleen #498 03 Cobra #5467 15 GT PP #wgaf
