Curious as to how long everyone has had their car. Also how many miles when you bought and miles currently and what you paid for it.

I got my probably about five years ago. It had 125k on it and I paid 6k. It was I could afford to get into a Cobra. It has been good to me. Would love to supercharge, but a lot of miles my opinion and then the problems start. Currently I have about 127k.

Paid $9600 in 2010, car had 19,991 miles on it. Car has 92,351 miles on it right now. When I bought it, the only non oem thing on the car were the shitty sumitomo tires on the rear. The stock BFGs were still on the front, albeit very sketchy.

Car has had...
One new top
Front and rear pads/rotors
One K&N, re-oiled occasionally
Lots of oil changes
4 sets of tires
Two set of plugs
One a/c compressor
One alternator
Couple sets of wipers
New headlights/turn signals
New bulbs, still have working date coded orginals
One battery
One serpentine belt
One throw out bearing and unnecessary Clutch swap. ToB was bad but clutch was good. Changed clutch with oem motorcraft branded valeo clutch and oem ToB. The oem clutch still had at least half friction material. Flywheel is oem.
Changed out front seats and steering wheel because ford leather....isn't.

Honestly, this is probably one of the most reliable cars I've ever owned. I can't be mad, all things considered. Lastly, I drive this csr like it's meant to be. It sees redline at least once in a day that I drive it. I don't baby it but I don't abuse it either.

Bought my ‘96 in 1999 for $19k. Had 34 thousand miles when I bought it. Don’t know how much the actual mileage is because for 12 years or so I didn’t fix the odometer. Well over 300k I guess.
It’s a keeper so that’s why I let it go for so long.

Bought my ‘98 in 2001 with 1900 miles, now has 15K on it. Bought my ‘96 last June with 24K, and drove it about 100 miles before starting disassembly (current project).

97' cobra
purchased Sept. 1999 with 18k miles
paid 23k.
Now has 129k miles and is garaged most of the time.
I still to this day think it's beautiful. More now than when I first got it.

Mine is a '96 Cobra bought in the summer of '97 and at that time it had around 4,100KM and still two years of warranty left. Right now it has just over 52,000 KM I try to drive it as much as I can in the summer but in the last few years life got in the way and haven't had the chance to drive it as much as I would like. I've had it now for 24 years and still like it as much now as I did then. I doubt I could bring myself to ever sell it.

Bought my 1998 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Convertible December 24th, 2020 with 60,200 miles and I have 60,500 or so, I paid $7,500 for it and the car was completely bone stock and spotless. Since I got the car I lowered it, put some nicer bigger wheels, different shifter, K & N filter with silencer removed, etc - mostly still stock... Love the car, I do want to add a little more sound to it.

143K miles and 3 engines. You, my friend, are hereby promoted to Captain.
View attachment 1695078

First one spun a bearing. (Right around the 141k mark)
Second engine was an Aluminator shortblock, rebuilt heads etc. Also, spun a bearing (at 500 miles)
Third engine went in last summer. Built bottom end, 67mm turbo. So far, so good.

I'm also on my second T45 and my second rearend.

I bought my 97 in April of 2016 with 127,000 miles. First 2 pics.

It was mostly stock with some "custom" touches.

It now has 140,000 and looks a little different.

I rarely drive it with the top up. It had a new top when I got it and I need to replace it.
