How is the suede holding up on the 2013 version Recaro's?

Can owners of 2013's with the Recaro option comment on how the suede inside sections are holding up to seat time? Any notice of wear showing after so many number of miles. Thanks

I'm more worried about the alcantera on the steering wheel, with the oils from our hands it will look like crab in no time. I prefer regular leather

Only about 2500 miles on mine. Unsurprisingly, everything (including the suede) is still like new.

The Alcantara will hold up better than leather on the seats.

I just make sure to wash my hands before I drive the car and I never eat in it so my steering wheel doesn't get greasy looking.

Want to preserve them.

Jacket protects the seat and gloves protect the wheel. :burnout:

I think it will wear more with plastic on them..it'll create more friction.

I have 2200 miles since May.

Looks horrible, seats and wheel are totally worn. Even passenger seat.

Would never buy Recaros again. Ready to replace wheel or get a walmart ford racing wheel cover.

Really? On that note I'm going to take out the Recaro's and the steering wheel. Would you be interested in them for $45? I mean that's probably all I could get out of them....

The sarcasm is strong in you.

It might. The three or four times I drove the car last year I would barely grab the wheel for fear of this. It gave me reason to just stop driving it all together.
