How hard to change a fuel pump?

Not at all overly difficult. IF you are at all mechanically inclined, you can do it.
Just pay attention to the steps for taking it out, and reverse them putting it in.

Or, if you have a bad memory, pick up a Haynes Manual that will walk you through it step by step.

The process itself is not hard, just takes a little time to do.

JMO, but with all of the fuel pump related problems, it must be nice to know when your's is getting ready to go out ... JK

Pretty simple to do. One note from someone who has done them on a few cars, make sure your almost all the way out of gas!!!! you need to drop your tank and the lighter it is the easier. dropping the tank isn't hard. i use a floor jack and a piece of plywood to put under it and have someone help me lower it down, not too hard to do. you can do it
