How fast is the Audi A6...not the S6

there are a few kinds, the 2.8v6; 2.7Tv6; and 4.2v8.
The A6's aren't too fast. The RS6 is a different story V8biturbo 450hp awd. It runs mid 12's.

Well it depends. The 2.8 NA 6 banger isn't much. The 4.2 V8 is much better but limited in it's potential. This is a similar motor that they put in the new S4. The 2.7 bi-turbo is the same motor that they put in the 2000-2002 S4 and is very mod friendly. I have personally seen a A6 2.7T with chip, exhaust, and downpipes run a low 13. Now I know that isn't that fast but these cars are pretty hefty with the awd. There are S4's in the low 11's if not faster so if someone sunk the money into the A6 for K04 turbos, better intercoolers, etc. the car could be very fast. Hope this helps. later Ron
