how can you tell if coil packs need to be replaced?

im changing my spark plugs they were worn out bad.
all 8 are out.
im going with the NGK TR6
but i dont know if the coil packs are
good or bad. the coils look
clean on the inside of the rubber boot.

If your on a budget, you could just ohm them out. I cant remember the exact specs but you should be able to get a pretty good idea when you ohm them.
