Hey,
I was wondering what is the best way to fix this crimpled metal under my car. It is the "lip" were shops jack the car up sometimes. Thanks for any advice:

Same thing happened to mine, I clamped a pair of vise grips on there and bent it back real slow and easy, be careful if there is any rust that you don't break it off.

That's what I did....vice grips and a 'Special Ford Tool' (ball peen hammer). After I fixed it as best I could, masked it off and sprayed it flat black. I don't think you'll get it with a rubber mallet, and the dead blow will chip the paint off as well.

That's typically caused from jacking the car up with a cup or pad style floor jack. Eastwood company sells an attachement for the jack that is made to fit around the channel like the factory scissor jack does.
