I resized these some. I only had my 2MP camera with me at the time. I am surprised I did not know about this show before hand.

They had the local cars seperate from the ones doing the long haul.
This is my friends 70 Chevelle.

Not sure which motor is stock, this 396 or the 454 he has had in it as well. I will have to look at the build sheet he has for the car. Family owned since new.

Pontiac Solstice from Mallett with V8. Loud as hell in person, there were two there.

We got thirsty so we went back to the bar. $5 for a beer at the show, not! Anyway this was better because we got to see them run, hear them, and witness a few burnouts too. Nice cars, loud exhaust, and booze. What could be better?
Some of these might be blurred because they were moving, and, em, I was drinking, haha!

This one was cool. Chopped top and all. he saw me taking the picture so he raised the front up for it. Cool guy.

The fuzz blocked this one but it was so nice. I love the tail fins anyway.

the guy with the yellow ultima has his shop within walking distance of my house... rumor has it hes gonna twin turbo it!!!! he also has a sick caddy fleetwood g-machine that won the car craft real street challange a few years back

I was so mad, I wsa at work that day. I had this event on my calendar ever since they released the route, knew I couldnt make the trip but at least they were coming to columbia. I had to work the whole damn day! but thanks for the pics.

I think you guys are right. That blue one had a lot of magazine prints in frames around the car. It was all mod motor in there. Piss poor advertising I tell ya, If I had known I would have taken a better camera and backup batteries to boot. Oh well.
I did see one mustang that had a personal tag that read foose1 or 1foose. That thing sounded good and went by too fast to get the camera out.

Yeah, its an LSx of some kind (looks like its probably an LS2, if not an LS7). Hot Rod did a Solstice w/ some CF inspiration aswell, with an LS7 swap thats just siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick.

Mallett does a LSx conversion into the Solstice/Sky (which thats one of their cars). This swap is catching on more and more, and will probably suprise A LOT of people when they finally run up on these cars "fulltime".
