Hooking up a boost/vacuum gauge

Just got an Autometer boost/vacuum gauge.
Where's the best place to go through the firewall wall with the hose? Also, where do I hook up the hose to the supercharger?

why not just hook up to the line behind the glove compartment?

Behind the glove compartment is the easiest place to tie in.

I take it that's where the line comes in from the engine compartment, going to the stock gauge?

yes. just get a t fitting, and hook it up to that.
