wow. even as a kid in the early 80s, i dont remember anyones car having a trunk prop rod lol. never even knew that existed lol.

I had one on my Toyota Celica Liftback. In the winter, the liftback struts lost pressure (Ideal Gas Law in action), so I used a cut down hockey stick. Worked perfectly!

Hood struts on a GT500 are a MUST! Especially if you work a lot on your own ride LT48!

Redline FTW on a stock hood. Installed them on my '14. No drilling. Took maybe 5 minutes. Awesome product without the fugly and cumbersome hinges that other brands have. First thing I did when I brought my car home from the dealer 4 years ago. Ford should be slapped for the awful hood prop rod they give us.

This was the first thing I did on my car along with Jaeger Brothers Front Splash Guards. I bought both items 2 months before my car was built and installed them as soon as the car was in my garage, that was over 4 1/2 years ago and consider them a must have part along with an oil separator.
