Hood shocks? MMD, Redline, MRT

Redline,had'em on my 06 with a Carbon Fiber hood(rivet,no prob) Never had any probs. Put them on my 13 GT .

Put a set of bolt-in Redline hood shocks on my buddys 2011 & it took less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend them. :beer:

Definitely appreciate the feedback guys, lots of votes for Redline. Anyone have experience with the other brands/different style shock setups?

I have the MRT kit and the shocks seem to be on the heavy side. You can get those struts at any auto part store. They can order them by compressed/extended lengths as well as a different ratings. If you put on a lightweight fiberglass hood you can change the struts if you feel they are too strong.

the redlines are MUCH stiffer than the MMD's if you have a aftermarket hood go with the MMD's. IMO the redlines are too stiff
