Hood shake at over 70mph?

Hey guys- so above 70mph my hood shakes and over 80 it looks like its going to fly off the car.

Anyone know what this is and how I can fix it?!


2013 GT brembo auto. AR lowered race springs installed by previous owner.

Stock or fiberglass hood? I read that someone was having that issue with a Cobra R fiberglass hood after removing all the splash guard from underneath. My splash guards are off too. My stock hood shakes at 140mph but doesn't look like it's going to fly off. I think it shook more when I took the fog lights out to let more air in the engine compartment. I ended up putting the fog's back in.

yep that will do it, I left mine off when I removed my front sway bar- you outta to feel it at about 120 - between the hood shake and the transmission tunnel noise you think the car is coming apart- I did a lot of mods at once so it took me a month or so to figure it out and reinstall it .

That was my problem too. I did zip tie mine after rad support install except mine wasn't made from plastic and the zip ties tore thru the splash guard. Ripped that bitch off and threw it in the trash

Yeah I zip tied mine and a couple holes ripped too. I knew if I buy another new it's just going to do the same thing so I made "brads". lol Before it was zip tied I had a lot of shake. Made my headlights flutter at 75mph or higher. After this I have zero hood shake.
