I'm looking to get a bit of insight from people on a solid projector for a home theater. This will be my first home theater build so I'm not looking to go all out. It isn't going to be anything crazy, and I'm looking to do it relatively cheap. I am willing to sacrifice some quality to save some cash, so long that it still looks decent. I will mainly be running my XBMC with streaming content (usually 720) and 720 movie files. Light will not be an issue with the room.

Here are the three that I have been looking at:

http://www.amazon.com/ViewSonic-PJD...=UTF8&qid=1364492639&sr=1-1&keywords=PJD5533w

Any input on the projectors? Am I missing something better?

Badass build! It looks super clean. I was hoping to stay a little bit cheaper than that. Right now I think I'm leaning towards the Acer H5370BD. Opinions?

And I am going to build my own screen with:

Op check out the Optoma HD70 projector. It is the one I still have and use at my house. It has great reviews on it and I had never once had a problem with it.

I've got the Optoma HD180 and can't complain. I'm around $800 in with the projector and 120" screen and it looks excellent in 1080P

Not everyone needs to buy the best of the best... I don't want to spend much more than $500 or so on a projector. This is a budget, entry level build.

It seems to get very decent reviews for the price and most people that review it are more than happy for the price.
