Ok guys so today I was off of work and decided I wanted to build a custom radiator cover for my 2004 Cobra. I have always loved the look of the metal covers, but never liked the price. I love building my own things, so I figured I would tackle this.

I used 040 Sheet metal, 2 pairs of hand snips, drill, file, and my 4' sheet metal break.

I am very pleased with how it came out, and it only took me about 2 hours from start to finish. I just had "TERMINATOR" and "COBRA" cut out in silver vinyl from my friend, so ill post a pic of the logo I choose tomorrow.

On to the pics....

Here is the pic I snapped after I cut and bent it, in white sheet metal.

And here it is painted with High gloss black paint.

Hope you guys enjoy. Ill try to post a "How-To" later this week when I build one for my buddy.

Thanks for looking

Dom

Looks very good, I like it when people do things themselves instead of just writing a check. Congrats

You could wrap it like I did with 3M carbon vinyl. It was a smile wrap and looks good.
