Any other home brewers? I brew my own meads. Currently I have four different meads brewing: 5 gallons of Joe's ancient orange, 5 gallons of strawberry mead, 2.5 gallons of blueberry mead, and 2.5 gallons of cranberry mead. I'd like to start brewing beer sometime soon.

do you have a seperate fridge just for brewing or do you only need the fridge for the very end wants its done?

I've done a few meads, the first turned out well, 7 lbs of honey, frozen fruit, 5 gal. batch. The latest mead I made had 15 lb's of honey and was too strong. The mead experts recommended putting it away for some time that it could mellow some. I'm at a year now, might break some out.

If you can brew mead, you can brew beer, give it a shot!

Also, you usually store beer warm until you're ready to drink it, unless you've kegged it. It needs a few weeks warm (one at least) to carbonate.

I need to start up again, the mead was made for my wedding a year ago, my wife made tej herself for the wedding guests.
