you guys see this video? not sure if this is happening because the car is new and has 48 miles on it or the bog is programmed into LC to save the DCT. it happened at every rpm setting in LC. Happened with the orange tuned gt500 as well. any ideas? looks kinda like the ZL1 6sp bog. have an order in for a gt500. wonder if this is happening without LC from a stop ?

starts at the 7:30 mark

If you watch the parts where it shows the gauge for the 500, in all of them you can see the traction (slip) indicator going nuts. In a couple of them, it was showing him spinning still almost at 80mph.

That was a terrible road to begin with. I bet the GT500 will beat the GT on a better surface, not necessarily a prepped one.

True, but I bet a 1/2 million dollar car has better tech than a $75k one. Brooks best 1/4 time has been 10.8 under great conditions and has raced it many times.

Knowing from the ford press event that the car spins from the 1400rpm launches at a drag strip, I knew a shitty dusty road with 3200rpm was a bad idea.

I wouldn’t have tried anything north of 1400. If the drag strip had spin, that dusty road just needed like a 1000 or 1200rpm “launch” of basically rolling out off idle but loaded up.
