If you're thinking of covering them or blocking them (with sound deadening material for example) - don't. One of the times they really help is if you're in an acident and the airbags deploy. The air has to go somewhere when those bags deploy, and the vents allow for that. If they're covered, I hear the next weakest thing in the cab for pressure is a person's eardrums... :(

I guess the vents could also help keep the glass from popping out if a door gets slammed shut too hard.
