I noticed the other day on my home from work that at wide open throttle the truck hesitates and once it gets to 119 it feels like it hit a wall. Never took it that far before but Ive searched and read nothing about a speed limiter. Truck is stock. My first thoughts are fuel filter and cleaning the intercooler. Any other ideas?

Sounds like its time to start MODDING. It can be the loss of boost at high speed. Its a safety thing that ford did on the S/C setup.

Searching the board now on what mods to go with. Havent really been into it in a while but after the other day I'm ready to start modding.

What?...I've never heard of a boost dump at speed.

Dunno what year your truck is, but if your 01-04 you have 3:73 gears and prob shift in to O/D around that speed. Thats what lags you. If you stay in it, it will climb but just slowly.

Time to start modding to overcome that..:-D
