What's the highest c/r one can get away with on a dd with only 91 octane fuel? I run 10.4 right now and thinking of stepping to 11.4 on my next build.

obviously for an n/a build and maybe no2 down the road...
Where your cr now is what i'd consider max with pump gas. It's not worth the hassle going up another point and have to pull timing. Money would be better spent in heads/cams/intake. Those three are where the HP is.
I was thinking 10.5-11.0. Naz had to run a mix of race and pump gas on his latest build, it was 12+ IIRC
Yeah, I've been thinking 11 was about the limit for 91. I was just hoping someone would tell me I'd me ok with 11.4, lol.
The problem is, with a stroker piston a flattop is 11.4 ish and a 9cc dish is around 9.8 ish. What's an n/a guy to do. I'm considering going with an 11cc dish @ 9.5 ish just in case I want to throw a set of hair dryers on it later on...
I'm running about 10.8:1 in my current motor. Runs good on 92 pump as well.
