I have just started to get this whistling sound while the rpms climb (not under hard load)
The noise sounds like amplifier interference when you install an aftermarket sound system and you can hear it through the speakers. My noise is coming from the front of the car though and not through the stock radio. There is a little click when i shift as well, must be when the tension releases on the belts as people have told me it could be the idler bearings going. I just dont see this because i have the aftermarket billetflows and they have only been on there for max of 2000 KMs.
Any help is appreciated

pull your belt off and spin each bearing.....sometimes when one is going it wont spin as freely. the bearings Doug uses are top notch, but there are bound to be some that fail prematurely.
