I have an 04 Metallic Silver convertible (#1531) for sale.
I am the 3rd owner, and live in Florida. The car was originally from Southern California and spent its whole life there until I bought it almost a year ago. The original owner drove it on the highway mostly going back/forth to work. It has never been abused. It has since spent its life in a locked storage facility. This car has 210,500 miles on its original engIne/trans. It has never been rebuilt, the blower is original and never been ported. I’m 99% sure it has its original clutch.
The good; body is 100% solid. No rust, no dents, never been damaged. The motor is perfect. It starts right up, doesn’t burn oil and has all the power you would expect. Mind you, this car is unmolested/unmodified, as close to 100% original as possible.
The rear is original and has never been rebuilt, still has that Cobra “clunk” when you put it in gear.
The trans shifts as notchy as they’re known to be as it’s never been rebuilt.
The bad; as would be expected from a high mileage car, the drivers seat needs to be reupholstered, and it needs a new rug.
‘The original top still works but has a slight thin spot.
‘The front bumper clips were damaged before I came into possession of the car, so they’d need repairing. The paint shows well when polished but the clear on the spoiler is faded.
I just don’t have the time for the car and So she needs to go.
If theirs any interest I will take all the detailed pictures asled.
I will entertain any reasonable offer…
