High Idle/Brake Problem!

I had a vacuum leak, that I recently fixed and it's been idling really high 1k-1500rpm. The air/fuel is fine and the car drives fine. I tried resetting the ecu by disconnecting the battery and pressing the brakes to drain any excess electricity and when I turned the car back on it started to reset at idle, it went back to 700rpm but when I restarted the car it was back to the high idle. Not only that, the brakes are very hard. It brakes fine, maybe not as good as normal but it seems like it only has 1/4 of the travel it usually does. I tried pushing the brakes all the way down but they seemed like they were going to break. When I press the brakes REALLY hard the idle starts to go down.

Any help?:(
