Just moved to Alamogordo New Mexico and going to be picking up my car in a couple of weeks. Just curious if I need a re-tune due to the altitude. Its 4400 ft above sea level. The car was tuned in Missouri. Also, I may not have access to 93 octane, which the car was tuned for. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Also, if anyone knows of a good tuner/shop in the area, let me know.

Thanks.
J.

Cool thanks for the help. I was thinkin it would lean it out, but after reading this I guess if you take O2 away, then it would make it run rich. Thanks again.

You will definitely run on the rich side at altitude. If you want to maximize your car retune for the difference.
