I hate the GTR just as much as anyone else on here but those times were at negative DA during PERFECT track conditions, btw your missing one, there was a guy that hit a 10.8 bone stock even with the stock tires.

I thought stock GTR's were running mid 11's or so? Now it has around 700HP and only running 10.8? Doesnt' seem like much of an improvemet for how much money it cost the guy.

First. 275/17 drag radials down from 345/20 or 19's that come stock in like putting 4.10's in a car. It's the equivalent of gears. Much more beneficial than just the tire compound.

Second. 1 Man in the world has gone 10's in factory trim

Lets put this into perspective for everyone that thinks this is somehow a benchmark:

out of maybe 20000 C6Z owners 1 person has gone 10's.

Thats .005% right there

That was about 1 out of 100 runs (I.E. more seat time then most board members here will have with ANY car)

So thats now 1% of .005%

This was under BETTER THAN IDEAL conditions. a Track with negative DA!!

Meaning.... THE C6Z06 IS NOT A 10 SECOND CAR STOCK.. It can never be repeated from any other track in america, by anybody, or any stoplight EVER. It is a one time act that is Impossible to replicate by anybody else.

With that said I love the C6z but everybody with a keyboard thinks they are 10 second cars stock.

I would love to see ranger/furmann run that car at lebanon valley dragway.. There was a C6z club there during a track rental and they all had trouble breaking INTO 11's stock.

BTW Not a fan of the GTR or hennessey, so boo.

They ran mid 11's with launch control and low 12's without, he didn't use launch control so he shaved over a second off. Also the they 700 crank HP I believe.
