Tried Installing A New Zoom Clutch Cable And Quadrant. The Cable Keeps Coming Up About A 1/4 Of An Inch Short Of The Fork. I Returned The First Cable And Quadrant And Tried Another One And Ran Into The Same Problem. I Gotta Get This Thing In Can Anybody Help?

The year of the stang may help out with the diagnosis a little bit. I had a similar problem in my '03 after I pulled the tranny out and was reinstalling the stock cable. Ended up just pulling the fork back to hook up the cable then went in the car and pulled up on the clutch peddal and it adjusted itself back it's original possition. Don't know if that will help you.
