Help!!!

Only have 1600 miles on it... heard a funny whining noise last night that got louder and louder...(and not a nice whining noise like a SC noise, a BAD one) ...opened the hood and smelled power steering fluid... looked at the resevoir....and BLOAH!
EMPTY!!!!! what the hell guys/gals? What the hell happened??
is this common? It affects my brakes too!!!! This sucks cause i am about to get my car picked up and shipped across country on either monday or tuesday and it's sunday!!!! Has anyone heard of such a thing? Just when you think things are going smooth....:fm:

Looks like you have a leak somewhere. I don't recall reading about this particular problem with our cars. Hopefully the power steering pump wasn't ruined by running it dry. Let a dealer fix it or refill the reservoir part way and watch where it is leaking to see what needs fixing.
