Help with Subaru STI need advice if u own help

Hey guys I'm planning to purchase a Sti with some modifications done to it and I need advice before I buy it because the car is located 2 hours away I wanna know if it worth driving too!?? Pm me if your good with the 2004 subie motor general info and tranny??? Thanks lots

Ill help u out as a former sti owner. They stink dont buy one. Too much money for what it is a 4 banger. Way to much money to get some real hp from. If u need a vehicle for weather reasons buy a beater , than buy a v8 for fun.

Go over to nasioc.com for more help. I just bought an 09 and like it. It's not going to be reliable like a Honda or Toyota. I would not buy one if it was mod'ed. Too many variables. FYI..........they are gas hogs! It will not get any better than 25mpg ever! If you like the boost...20mpg wont happen. My Mustangs had better mpg, and are more fun to drive. The STI has no torque.
