Hey guys my motor has been assembled and we started it up to find the car is throwing a P0340 code. We know the code is the cam sensor and we also know it could be something other than the sensor itself. We swapped out the alternator to eliminate a bad diode and the code still pops up. When the car threw the ode the first time we disconnected the alternator cleared the code and started the car back up let it run shut it down and started it back up and no code. We reconnected the alt and ran the car then shut it down and started it again and it threw the code again. So we swapped out the alternator and started it again and shut it down and started it again and it threw the code again. Any help or suggestions would be great.
