help with cai

I have a 2002 harley f150 sc . I purchased a c&l cold air intake kit with the inlet elbow . Exactly 1 day after install my check engine light soon came on. The code was p0174 ecm has detacted a rich or lean air/ fuel ratiocondition on engine bank 2.

I say that too say this. " what can I do to stop it from doing this. Is there something else I need to purchase or do.

Please help I dont want to hurt the truck.

i dont think you can just slap a CAI on a boosted motor without tuning for it. put it back to stock until you can get it tuned properly

it's most likely installed incorectly hence the issue



BUT while it isn't 100% true about a CAI on a boosted applicaiton needing a tune we don't have all the info and I agree the OP needs to return it to stock until someone who has a clue can help with the install

you dont need a tune.. anything p0 is a vaccum leak. Check the bottom of the CAI and make sure that you have 3 lines plugged in.
