Help With Alternator Pulley

I went this morning to put my friends Steeda pulleys on his 99 Cobra and the alternator pully was not coming off for anything. Is there some trick to get it off? The pulley was not spinning or anything but I could not get the bolt to lossen at all. Anyone else have any troubles with this? Please let me know.

gotta use an impact gun to get the nut off the pulley

I tried that for about a min continously. It isnt on there reverse threaded is it? It still comes out the same way a regular bolt does doesnt it? Please help. Thanks in advance.
