Well, I can not get this damn thing off. I have a Roush ball shift knob and handle. I loosened the lock nut but I still can not get the knob to turn. Any ideas?
Help...shifter knob will not come off.

I'd put a bunch of rags all around the shifter, (to keep solvent(s) from getting all over the place), and try Break Free or some other penetrant shot up into the threads or they even sell some stuff in an aerosol can that freezes and loosens the threads. Just a thought... good luck
tried that. no luck. This sucks.
Have you tried using a belt? kind of like an oil filter remover.
