HELP!! Noise in clutch!!

clutch is starting to make this rubbing noise when I am in first gear. Upon engaging in 1st gear after pressing the clutch; during "depression and engagement of the clutch pedal I hear a rubbing noise, then it goes away as I drive. (only in first)no noise in any other gears......does anybody know what this is? Dealer claims it's a warped pressure plate and can't be covered under warranty.

Yes it can be covered, if the car is not modded to much. CAI and exahust is fine. But if you have a pulley or chip in there then maybe not.

Mine had a cracked bell housing at around 15,000 miles(sounded like a cracked exhaust manifold to me) I got a whole brand spanking new transmition. My service rep said that it was faulty from the factory. I've heard alot of problems with the throw out bearing so it could be that.
