HELP NEEDED: 2002 Lightning 98k miles SALVAGE TITLE.

I have been wanting a Lightning for awhile now to mess around with.

I looked at one last week, a 2002 with almost 100k on it and a salvaged title.

The current owner got it at auction in FL and does not know the details of the salvage title.

He has had it for 2 years now and has replaced some things and says it runs great.

Now I know this will have no resale value, but what do you think it should be worth?

He is asking $10,500... seems high to me.

Too high IMO, Lightning prices have dropped alot lately. For that price you can have a clean title truck. I say wait and see what else you find

I bought a MINT salvaged L back in like 2006 with 30k miles on it for 10k (was fixed professionally and even had a 4/6" drop kit).... In 2008 I bought a mint CLEAN title truck with 100k on it and mods again for 10k. Just to give you an idea... I would say this truck you are talking about is in the 7k range.
