I have a 4# lower , 2.76 upper and a 4pc metco idler set . I bought a 81" first , it wouldn't fit , then I went and got a 82" and a 83" and the 82" fit . Then I took back the 81" and the 83" . Needless to say I made way to many trips to the parts store .

I have 2.76 upper 4lb lower and two 100mm idler I went with what the chart said 77.5 but it did not fit I finally got 79.0 belt to fit but I have belt slip and only get 5psi of boost. I need to get a 3.20 alternator pulley do you think that will fix my belt slip?

Do you have the snub idler for the supercharger ? The 79" probably won't fit with the 3.20" alt pulley. I had to go 1.5" longer for the 3.5" alt pulley .

No I don't have a snub idler. I did tried a 77.3/4" belt but it was about a inch from going on the supercharger pulley with the tensioner pulley max out so that's why I when with a 79" belt. I know I need a 3.20 alternator pulley so I don't Burn up my alternator but I still want to get a snub idler tho.

A snub idler should fix your problem . My belt went on with ease and no slip at all thanks to the snub idler .

This was strange but i followed the chart and it said an 80 in, not even close. the belt that was on the car that i took off was an 80.5 which was weird i thought and the 82 in was to lose.... 81 .5 worked great so far so the chart was off for me.. Thanks for the help..

The Chart was no help to me either . 81.5 would have been perfect on my car as well but the guy at the parts store said they don't make belts in half sizes .. I guess he was full of it .
