Hey guys, I'm going to look at a Cobra today, here's the listed ad:
1998 Svt Cobra white convertible with tan interior and tan top. 93,000 original miles. Motor and transmission strong. $5000 obo. It has a salvage/rebuilt title. The ball joints need to be greased where it sat up in a garage and rubber groment on passager door needs to be replaced.
I spoke with the owners, and the car was out of town, and they drove it into town last night so I could look at it. There's a hole in the passengers side seat. The car is salvage because a previous owner hit a pole (Says the CarFax). Owner already said he'd take 4,500.
I've been looking at a lot of other Cobra's to get a price check, and it seems they really aren't going even over 4k.
What's this car really worth? I want a fun toy, but I don't want to get burned on price.
