OK, I picked up another 03, completely stock. I need some advice on what to do with it, performance wise, beyond the normal CAI, shifter, cat-back.
The car's not going to see the track. It's strictly a street machine and the more torque the more fun. Tires will be an after-thought.
A Billetflow 2.76 & idlers are a given. I spoke to a local tuner and he recommended a 2.76 & stage 4/TB/Plenum. NO lower... they're bad. :nono: :nono: He also mentioned that based on his testing the upgraded H/E really isn't needed unless the car's seeing the track. Most of the people here with that opinion seem to get beat over the head pretty good.
The HP gains from the port are nice but the torque gains are pretty small based on what Stiegemeier told me.
I've see some people are running a pulley and gears, which seem to provide some get-up. Other's swear by a upper/lower combo.
I don't need to be over 500 rwhp. Actually i'd like to keep my stock fuel delivery system for now.
The funds aren't limitless, so any ideas? :shrug:
