Most stations keep a playlist online and then if its a new song and "cutting edge" it probably came from a company called Promo Only (www.promoonly.com I think). They are a new song supplier to radio stations of all kinds. They specialize in funky songs.

Try them. You can search their website. But first email the station. Unless it was a request it was on the books to play a while before it actually played on the air.
