I was driving today and saw what looked somewhat like a Shelby Series 1. It wasn't this but similar. It was red with a black convertible top. The rear lights looked like louvered "built-ins" into the rear quarterpanels. It was definately a Ford but I'm puzzled as to what I saw. Any ideas? Thanks!!

No but this was a NEW model. Looked like it was just registered judging by the paper tag.

There was an article in MM&FF I believe about a guy who built a Mach III from scratch on a new T Bird chassis. Dont remember what part of the country he was in, but it was a DD for him.
