I need to drain my gas tank today (top hat is leaking).

I have a dual walboro return setup.

My plan is to disconnect the return line near the tank, and then run the pumps with the engine off to drain all the fuel into a gas can.

How/where do I jump the return pumps? Thanks

Just disconnect the return line and turn your key. Your pumps should be running when the key is acc position without the car running.

They aren't running. I think that is a misnomer with return systems.

I figured out myself how to jump the relays. Thanks anyway.

If yours is not setup that way how is your sytem primed for start up? I have return sytems in both of my cobras and the relays are activated by the switched 12V (green/yellow wire off FPDM harness). Does your car crank a few times before starting?

Anyway, glad you got it figured out.

Added two relays for each pump, no FPDM trigger.

Mine works the same way effectively as returnless. Turning key to on pressurizes the system (pumps run for two seconds). Then yes cranks a few times and starts.

I also have a boost-a-pump running at 25% in boost.

Just drop the tank with the gas in it. I've done it twice that way. You just have to be a lil more careful thats all

:??:

How do you have it set up? Mine do that I just installed the whole return system. I can pull the return line, turn the key and they run.

And why do you still have the boost-a-pump in there? Its not needed with the walbro.
