I have a new block
Newest revised heads
ported blower& TB, 2.93 up top 4# lower, all idlers, 2400 SCT maf, GT pumps, modified FPDM.

I do not have the tick if the car is just sitting with the engine on. I can rev the car and not have the tick

When i drive the car it is another story which leads me to believe this may be transmission related. I put the car into gear and when i start to roll it ticks along with the rpm of the car. If i put it into a higher gear at low speeds and give it some gas i can hear it clearer.

Any ideas or anything else I could try to diagnose this?
Thanks
James

I had "the tick" and it was heard at idle, next to a wall. You could hear it up to about 2000rpms. Since you don't have it at idle, you don't have "the tick." If it is only heard in gear then it could be drivetrain related. Sorry that I can't be more help.

Yes I am leaning towards an exhaust leak myself.
Hopefully it will be an easy fix
Not really up for spending 1500 on a new ram clutch setup right now.
