HELP BBK X-PIPE w/CATS & BORLA EXHAUST

I have the borla cb on the cobra right now and have a BBK x-pipe w/ high-flo cats the x-pipe will bolt on to my exhaust but it was made for LT headers......can i install the x-pipe without the headers?? would i just cut and weld the x-pipe???:shrug::bash:

Personally, I'd ditch the X-pipe that's made for connecting to headers and buy one that is made specifically to connect to the factory manifolds...or I'd just buy a set of headers to connect to the X-pipe. :rockon:

No way I'd spend all the time and effort trying to modify the current X-pipe...

what kind of x-pipe would you recommend that could bolt to the stock exhaust manifold? and not to expensive?

Personally, I've got a SS Bassani X-pipe with the removable cats, but there's a number of manufacturers that make cats for this specific application.

If you look through your favorite Mustang magazine (such as MM & Fast Fords) or check out the websites of some of our supporting vendors( such as Lethal Performance), you'll see quite a few differnet choices for this specific application...
