Help, battery light came on

Was there a warranty on alt?

I've been using orielys, lifetime warranty.
On second 1 now,,

I pull out bottom,,takes longer to drink the beer than pull this thing

I assume there would be a warranty, however the alternator was bought by the previous owner the day before I picked up the car. and he doesn't have the reciept.
